Happy election day! Yes, the barrage of political propaganda will soon give way to celebrations, concessions, ruminations, and spin, spin, spin. As always, the Guardian will be on the beat delivering live election coverage through this site and our SFBG Twitter feed, so follow along and weigh in with your comments. They are good on sex and drugs but on everything else they are mega-conservative.

We desperately need the government for clean water, schools, mass transit, a woman's right to choose, health care for all, okay you get the idea.....

I actually really enjoy engaging with those who disagree with me. I often find it refreshing.

Most of the Greens I know are vegetarian or vegan. It's the environment, stupid!

I still think it sends the wrong message to pick a sausage grill for a Green event (vegan options or no). Just my two cents.
